Welcome New Students

We are pleased to announce four new students joining the MACC in May 2013.

Pedro Castillo joins us from Citrofruit in Mexico and is studying for an Ph.D. under Prof. Vlad Mahalec. He received his B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, S.L.P., Mexico.

Patrick Carter recently finished his B.Eng in Chemical Engineering and Management at McMaster and has stayed on for a M.A.Sc. with Prof. Chris Swartz in the area of optimal planning and scheduling.

Kushlani Wijesekera has joined Prof. Tom Adams' research group in the area of semicontinuous production of biofuels. She recently completed her B.Eng from McMaster in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering.

Kyle Lefebvrealso joined Prof. Adams' group after completing his B.Eng in Chemical Engineering & Bioengineering from McMaster. He is currently developing new solid oxide fuel cell systems with integrated energy storage.
