Research Title
Integrated Design and Control of Air Separation Systems

Research Objectives
The overall research objective is to apply optimization based methodologies on integrated design and control of air separation units. It is motivated by the potential economical and/or operational gains (i.e. improvements in agility and controllability) that can be generated through implementing certain control structure, operating profiles and/or design modifications given electricity price fluctuations and/or changes in load requirements.
